iC-Haus

iC-Haus GmbH is a leading, independent German manufacturer of standard integrated circuits (ICs), application specific standard products (ASSP) and customized application-specific integrated circuit (ASiC) semiconductor solutions with worldwide representation. The company has been active in the design, production, and sales of application-specific iCs for industrial, automotive, and medical applications for more than 30 years now.

The iC-Haus cell libraries in complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS), bipolar, and binary-coded decimal (BCD) technologies are specifically suited to realize the design of sensor, laser/opto, and actuator ASiCs, amongst others. The ICs are assembled in standard plastic packages or using the iC-Haus chip-on-board technology to manufacture complete microsystems, multichip modules, and optoBGA/QFN in conjunction with sensors.

iC-Haus has a wide variety of Laser Driver ICs available in the market and a long and profound knowledge of developing such drivers for various applications.

iC-Haus has also developed leading edge technology tools for measuring ps-pulsed light-sources.

For the SOLUS project, iC-Haus will develop a custom integrated solution for driving the light sources (lasers) according to the projects specification and will support the according parties in assembling the laser drivers and diodes. This work is part of Work Packages 1 and 3.
