On May 4-5, 2017, the SOLUS consortium met for the second time at the Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy. All Work Packages presented the progress achieved in the first six months of the project.
In total, nine deliverables, related to the project governance and communication, and the design of the components and clinical validation, were successfully completed and submitted in the first six months. Four of these are available to the public and can be accessed in the results and deliverables section on this website. Furthermore, a milestone regarding the freedom to operate was reached in this period.
At the meeting, project partners also discussed technical details for upcoming work and development in their respective work packages. Good progress was made on key decisions regarding the development of the SOLUS medical device.
The project was very successful and showed promising preliminary results in the early development stages.
